Sticker Review Guidelines

Creators (the makers and sellers of stickers) can only sell stickers they have created once they have been approved by the LINE Creators Market review process. Sticker designs that are determined by LY Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") to fall under or risk falling under the categories listed below stand a good chance of being rejected for or removed from sale by Company. Please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your stickers. Please note that some stickers may be approved for sale despite falling under the categories listed below due to the content of the stickers, their regions of distribution, or the characteristics of their creator. If you use photos as part of your graphics, we may request that you provide documentation supporting your right to use them. 

1. Images (sticker images, main image, thumbnail image)

1.1. Images that do not follow the format designated by Company
1.2. Images that are not easy to use in daily conversation and communication
1.3. Images that have poor visibility, such as pictures that are too long or full-length illustrations of tall characters
1.4. Sets that significantly lack variety, such as stickers made up purely of pale colors or strings of numbers
1.5. Images that feature only logos
1.6. Images that only feature text or phrases
1.7. Images that contain spelling mistakes
1.8. Stickers with titles and descriptions that conflict with one another
1.9. Main images or tab images that are completely different from the stickers actually on sale
1.10. Images that are duplicates of stickers that are already available or currently under review 

2. Text Guidelines for Sticker Titles, Product Descriptions, Creator Names, and Copyright Information

2.1. Text that does not follow the format designated by Company
2.2. Text containing spelling mistakes or other errors
2.3. Titles or descriptions that contain advertising elements, such as "look for this item in stores on Nov 17" or "Just search for 'product name' online"
2.4. Text containing URLs
2.5. Text containing emoji such as hearts or any other characters that may display differently depending on the user's device
2.6. Extremely short text
2.7. Text that conflicts with the sticker images

3. Moral Guidelines

3.1. Images that encourage or promote criminal activity
3.2. Images that depict violence, child abuse, or child pornography
3.3. Images that display overly suggestive visuals or themes
3.4. Images that depict excessive drinking or illegal substance abuse, as well as elements that encourage alcohol or tobacco consumption by underage users
3.5. Images that encourage driving under the influence of alcohol
3.6. Images that depict illegal arms realistically, or might promote the use thereof
3.7. Images used for spamming or phishing other users
3.8. Images that graphically depict the murder, shooting, stabbing, or torture of people or animals
3.9. Images that may slander, injure, or attack the reputation of a particular person, legal entity, nationality, or group
3.10. Images that disclose or could potentially disclose personal or third party information
3.11. Images that display overly offensive or crass images
3.12. Images that may potentially attack or cause particular displeasure to a religion, culture, people group, or nationality
3.13. Images designed to solicit or spread religion, or with strong religious components
3.14. Images with political imagery or election-related material
3.15. Images designed to confuse or disgust the viewer
3.16. Images that contain sexual explicit elements
3.17. Images that encourage gambling or elements related to gambling
3.18. Images designed to obtain the user's password or other private user data
3.19. Images that depict elements that harm the healthy development of young users, such as slot machines or horse racing
3.20. Images that induce or encourage suicide, self-harm, or drug abuse
3.21. Images that incite or encourage bullying
3.22. Images that depict elements that promote discrimination 
3.23. Images that otherwise depict antisocial elements that may cause discomfort to the user

4. Business, Advertising, and Other Guidelines

4.1. Images that require the user to provide personal information or ID in order to purchase them
4.2. Images that exceed the boundaries of private use and are designed to provide some benefit to a third party whether for free or for compensation, such as a corporate advertising campaign that gives away Sticker to users that visit their stores
4.3. Images that contain references to other messenger apps, similar services, or related characters
4.4. Images designed for commercial advertisements or promotions, such as job recruitment services
4.5. Images designed to collect donations for charity 
4.6. Images that solicit donations or otherwise encourage participation in political, religious, antisocial, or other organizations 

5. Rights and Legal Guidelines

5.1. Images that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or patents held by Company or third parties, or violate the conditions of third parties included in the images
5.2. Images that make use of copyrights that lack a clear owner, such as fan fiction
5.3. Images that infringe on others' right of portrait, such as pictures of others' faces taken without their consent or caricatures
5.4. Images that make use of material without proven permission from the copyright owner
5.5. Images that do not adhere to the laws of the regions in which the Company service is available, or infringe on third party rights or profits

In addition to the guidelines listed above, Company reserves the right to restrict, suspend, change or terminate the sale of ANY stickers that Company in its sole and absolute discretion deems to be inappropriate. The same applies to any stickers reported through Company's reporting system that are deemed innapropriate.

Please note that some themes may be approved for sale despite falling under the categories listed below due to the content of the themes, their regions of distribution, or the characteristics of their creator. 1. Image Guidelines for Icons, Menu Backgrounds, and Chat Backgrounds

1.1. Themes that do not follow the format designated by Company
1.2. Themes with poor visibility, such as icons that are visibly corrupted and difficult to see or that blend in with the background image
1.3. Themes that do not feature good overall design balance, such as no unifying theme among icons or icons that only contain text
1.4. Themes that only feature text or phrases
1.5. Themes that contain spelling mistakes
1.6. Themes with titles and descriptions that conflict with one another
1.7. Copies of themes already on sale inside the Theme Shop or currently under review (including simple color-revisions of existing icons)
1.8. Icons that differ significantly between different versions of LINE
