What is LINE Sticker Maker?

How to Use

1. Download the LINE Sticker Maker app.
2. Launch the app and create your stickers. No scanner or image editing software is required.
3. Request a review after logging in to your LINE account.
4. You can sell your stickers after they pass the review.

• Rejected stickers cannot be edited and resubmitted for review via the app. Please use LINE Creators Market to resubmit rejected stickers.
• You can log in to Creators Market and LINE Sticker Maker with the same LINE account.
  When doing so, stickers that you've already submitted for review will be synced automatically. Stickers that are still being edited won't be synced.
• The app is intended for individual use. You can still use the app if your business type is already set to "Corporate." However, you will not be able to edit your account info via the app.
• LINE Sticker Maker is currently available in English, Japanese, and Thai. We plan to release other languages in the future.

Creating Stickers on Your Phone

LINE Sticker Maker is an official app that lets you make LINE stickers for free.
- Crop your own photos and videos into a shape you like or use frames to highlight your favorite parts.
- Write text and decorate with decals to make your own original stickers.
- Apply for review and sell your stickers, all from your phone.

Create Your Stickers

• 

  Select Stickers

  Select Stickers to make a static sticker.

• 

  Start Creating

  Tap the "+" button to create a new sticker.

• 

  Choose 1 of 3 Methods

  Choose between the canvas, a photo on your device, or your device's camera.

• 

  Draw Your Sticker

  Make sure to color in the sticker as this can affect your review.

• 

  Choose a Photo

  Choose any photo to turn into a sticker and keep only the important parts using the Auto-Trim, Trace, Frame, Shape, and Eraser tools. You can also skip the trimming step altogether.

• 

  Select a Shape

  Cropping is as easy as selecting the shape you want. From there you can adjust the cropping by multitapping and dragging the image.

• 

  Trimming

  Pick out any part of a photo to turn into a sticker by outlining it completely with your finger. You can tweak your selection freely while shrinking, enlarging, and rotating the resulting image.

• 

  Use the Eraser

  Remove parts of your photo you don't want with the Eraser tool. You can adjust the size of the eraser and shrink and enlarge your photo as you go.

  Fun Frames

  Add cute, decorative frames to your sticker creations. You can download a range of frames to use to your heart's content.

• 

  Using the Auto-Trim Tool

  The Auto-Trim tool lets you easily cut around a shape by drawing a loose line around it. You can also use the tool to bring back any parts you want to keep or trim away any leftovers.

  Adjust Size and Angle

  Tweak your images' size and angle.

• 

  Add Text

  Add text to your images using a wide range of fonts. You can download new fonts from an in-app list.

• 

  Add Sketches

  Use the brush tool to freely draw over your photos.

• 

  Enter Sticker Details

  The sticker creation screen lets you enter a title and description for your stickers and choose the main image for the set. Note that you may have to change these later before you can submit your stickers for review.

  Stickers Complete

  Once you have at least 8 stickers, tap "Apply to Sell." You can sell your stickers in sets of 8, 16, 24, 32, or 40 stickers.

Create Your Animation Stickers

• 

  Select Animated Stickers

  Select Animated stickers to make an animated sticker from a video.

• 

  Start Creating

  Tap the "+" button to create a new animated sticker.

• 

  Choose from 2 Creation Methods

  Select a video from your camera or take a video then and there. You can also select frames while taking a video.

• 

  Choose a Scene

  Select the scene you want to make into a sticker and its duration in seconds (1 to 4 seconds).

• 

  Select a Shape

  Cropping is as easy as selecting the shape you want. From there you can adjust the cropping by multitapping and dragging the video.

• 

  Select a Frame

  Crop your videos with an adorable frame.

• 

  Select Decals

  Give your stickers some character with decals.

• 

  Add Text

  The text feature allows you to add text in your prefrred font and color. You can also adjust the size and angle by multitapping and dragging.

• 

  Configure Settings

  Make your sticker loop or change the smoothness and image quality. Turning on loop will make the video loop continuously for 4 seconds. You can adjust the smoothness and image quality to keep the sticker size within 1 MB.

  Preview

  Preview the completed image.

• 

  Stickers Complete

  Once you have at least 8 stickers, tap "Apply to Sell." You can sell your stickers in sets of 8 or 16 stickers.

  Enter Basic Information

  Enter your basic information.

• 

  Choose Set Size

  Static stickers can be sold in sets of 8, 16, 24, 32, or 40 stickers. Animated stickers can be sold in sets of 8 or 16 stickers.

• 

  Choose a Main Image

  Choose which image to display on LINE STORE and the in-app Sticker Shop.

• 

  Enter Product Details

  Enter the required information for stickers.

From Review to Sale

• 

  Request Review

  Check your stickers on the preview screen and request a review.

• 

  Waiting for Review

  You'll be notified by chat message through the LINE Creators Market official account and by email once the review step has ended.

• 

  Start Selling

  Once your stickers' status is "Approved," you can sell them on LINE STORE and the in-app Sticker Shop.

• 

  Download for Free

  We'll send you a message on LINE when your stickers are released. As the creator, you can download them for free.

Creation Tips

• All stickers have to pass our internal review process before they can be sold on the Sticker Shop. Read up on the Sticker Review Guidelines before getting started.
• It should take about two days to complete the review. Submit your stickers as early as possible in the event that you need to resubmit your stickers after a rejection.
• To allow only a select number of people see your stickers, select "Hide in LINE STORE/Sticker Shop" under Privacy Setting before releasing your stickers.
• When selling your stickers, keep the number of sale regions to a minimum. The more regions you release to, the more conditions your stickers have to meet to pass review.
